RYA National Match Racing Programme 2009

NMR Qualifying Events include: ALL TBC

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS 3 WEEKS BEFORE EACH EVENT.

(NOTE: We only take 9 teams per two day event and up to 12 teams for 3 day finals.)  Teams wishing to enter more than 1 qualifier, will be put on a reserve list until the entry deadline.  They will then only be accepted if there is room, or last minute withdrawals.

Teams will be competing at the qualifying events throughout the year to win a place in the RYA National Match Racing Championship Finals that hope to take place in October at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.

The Notice of Race will be available soon.

The Winner of each of the qualifiers will be awarded a place at the Finals.

Any team, entering any event with a sailor under the age of 18 , MUST send in the parent consent forms with the entry form.

Weight limit is 350kgs. All entry fees will be £250 with a separate damage deposit of £250. The entry fee for the Finals will be £100.

Training
Training has been planned for the 2 days before each event. This will cost approx £175 per team per day plus a £250 damage deposit. This must be booked at least 3 weeks before the date of the event.
