The RYA Active Marina Programme is designed to help you enjoy your boating more.

Training workshops:

Through RYA recognised training centres, the RYA Active Marina Programme offers you the opportunity to sign up to shorebased and practical workshops at your marina with the aim of building your knowledge and boosting your confidence.

This could be a refresher course, crew training, or even a specialist workshop helping to tackle the tasks which challenge you the most.

What the berth holders say:

"If you only come away with a single nugget of advice then this would have been exceptional value for money, irrespective of your experience and ability"

- Ian Singleton, Portland Marina

"Best two hours tuition I have had"

- Mr Speigal, Hamble (Sail)

"Paul was very informative and clear, a very useful 2 hours! I had no idea you did these courses"

- R Gadsden, Eastbourne (Power)

Cruises:

Meet like-minded people and expand your horizons by joining other berth holders on a cruise to a neighbouring harbour / marina. Enjoy a meal at the local Yacht Club or marina restaurant complete with a reserved berth.

RYA Instructor Andy Cross comments:

"It was a great experience to have the RYA, the marina and the training centre working together to offer such a fabulous opportunity for people to do something a little more adventurous on their boats. A worthwhile and enjoyable day"
