Welcome to December’s issue of InBrief- a quick roundup of the key stories and events affecting us in the boating world. Despite plunging in to the depths of winter, there still seems to be plenty going on out there, including the passing of a new Marine Act which could well have a far reaching effect on boating as a whole. We discuss the implications.
Elsewhere, the outstanding contribution of volunteers to the boating world were recognised by the RYA, while the focus switches to our young sailors following the announcement of RYA Regional Young Sailors of 2009.
We’d love to hear from you, email us at editor@ryanews.org.uk.
