Cadet National Junior Squad
Sailors wishing to be considered for selection for the 2008/9 RYA Cadet National Junior Squad shall normally be under 15 on 31 December 2008 and be members of the Cadet Class Association and the RYA.
Squad Places and Selection Policy
Normally 8 places (boats) will be offered, however this may vary according to the ability of competitors taking part in the indicator series normally we would aim to select at least 2 female helms. The remaining places will be offered to the highest ranked boats on completion of the indicator series.
The remaining Cadet National Junior Squad places will be offered at the discretion of the selection committee to helms who in their opinion have demonstrated the most potential to win medals for RYA Team GBR at international competitions in the subsequent years.
Additional places may be offered during the National Junior Squad training program at the discretion of the Cadet Squad Steering Group.

The 2008 Cadet National Junior Squad indicator events are:
- UKNCCA Indicator 2: 3rd & 4th May 2008- Datchet SC
- UKNCCA Indicator 3: 24th & 25th May 2008- Wpnsa
- Cadet National Championship 2008: 16th - 22nd August 2008-Royal Torbay YC.

- 10th & 11th November 2007: Datchet Water SC
- 1st & 2nd December 2007: WPNSA
