Behind the Scenes with the British Sailing Team

more features

Ever wondered what goes on behind closed doors of the British Sailing Team? Or what the nation’s Olympic sailing hopefuls get up to when not competing at world class sailing regattas around the world.

The British Sailing Team run a number of squad camps throughout the winter months which serve as a great opportunity to get all the sailors, coaches, sports science team and support staff together to create an environment of excellence and set the culture and tone of what it is to be part of our high performance programme.

The camps welcome young aspiring sailors who are making the step up from the RYA Youth Racing programme into the British Sailing Team’s Podium Potential Programme as well as more seasoned campaigners who are vying for places in the prestigious Podium programme.

Check out all the action from a recent Podium Potential Squad Camp at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy here....
