Five new products and heaps more on stand G8

‘New’ is the buzzword for Harken – exclusive hardware supplier of the British Sailing Team - as they launch FIVE products on stand G8 at the RYA Dinghy Show.

So what can you get your hands on to get ahead this season?

The Ratchet Block: Redefined - Is the wind steady and strong? Breeze-on with puffs? Or is the air light to medium? 57 mm Power3 ratchet blocks have one-design sailors covered with three holding-power options that best suit the day's wind and wave conditions. More ratchet choices allow sailors to fine-tune their set-ups in tandem with the purchase that provides the ideal level of power, responsiveness, and grip.

Taming the cat - Harken Introduces High-Efficiency Ceramic Mainsheet Systems for GP Catamarans. See the ultimate mainsheet upgrade on board Ben Saxton's Nacra 17 at the Dinghy Show

Effortless furling for small boats - Harken's continuous line-drive furler is the perfect solution for high-performance skiffs, dinghies, and multihulls using large jibs, reaching, and offwind asymmetrical sails.

FLY: High Load in a Small Package - Harken high-load Fly blocks were developed specifically for use with high-tech line. Efficient and with an incredible working load for their small size.

Also launching at the show is Blockheads, a free fan club aimed at youth sailors who want to increase their knowledge about rigging, tuning, and boat care. Meanwhile, say hello to the Harken Hogs! Swill you be the lucky one to name this sty-lish pair of Port and Starboard pigs and get your trotters on a Harken Goodie Bag?

Harken are now UK Distributors for the Marine Grip Range of anti-slip pads so take the chance to check them out at the show, while you can get up close and personal with Ben Saxton and Katie Dabson's foiling Nacra17 and Chris Turner's Ovington Moulded Scorpion too. With sailing superstars and Harken boat boffins on the stand all day, you never know who you will get to answer your hardware questions.
