Racing Coach Level 2 (Keelboat)
Keelboat Racing coaching is a growing market. More and more owners are looking for help and seeing the importance of training with a qualified coach. This course should be the first port of call for all aspiring keelboat coaches.

Details: This 4 day, residential (accommodation and meals) course deals with the latest methods and techniques for getting the best from any yacht racing team. It uses best practices taken from our Olympic coaches and provides an unique insight into the practical and legal issues of coaching racing.
The Course will be run in the Port Edgar Hunter 707 by the RYA team of Racing experts, lead by Mike Hart (RYA Coach Development Officer)
- Criteria for the course:
To be an active keelboat racer
To understand the difference between coaching and instructing
To have a passion for the sport and coaching others
The course includes powerboat level 2 assessement, however the candidates will need to hold a valid first aid certificate (or to take it within 6 months of the course). Successful candidates will be awarded the RYA Racing Coach Level 2 (Keelboat).
