Racing Coach Level 3 Courses 

This is a higher level coaching course aimed, primarily, at RYA qualified coaches looking to work as Head Coach.

It takes a range of subjects such as sail and rig tuning, rules, tactics, fitness, boat preparation and uses the latest techniques and coaching processes to accelerate the learning process.

This sophisticated system of tuition includes working with each candidate in their normal coaching environment to apply the lessons learnt to make a real difference to the individuals coaching skills and knowledge.

The course content is split in 5 key sections, all designed to fit into your normal coaching programme:
1. Pre-course work
2. Racing Coach Level 3 Course (2 weekends and CPD)
3. Coaching Modules
4. Accreditation (including a coached squad session)
5. Assessment

Course Criteria
The key requirements for the course are to demonstrate a high level of coaching ability, racing knowledge and passion for the sport. to include:
RYA Racing Coach Level 2 qualification and 30 days coaching
High level of racing ability
Aged 18 or over
To understand the difference between coaching and telling
Recommendation by High Performance Manager or National Squad Coach

Successful candidates will be awarded the RYA Racing Coach Level 3 Award.
