Joe Glanfield is a double Olympic silver medallist in the 470 class, claiming podium places at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 with Nick Rogers, the pair having finished fourth on their Olympic debut at Sydney 2000. Joe retired to concentrate on family life after Beijing and subsequently held positions as Skandia Team GBR Performance Lifestyle Advisor as well as coaching 49er pair Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes, and Sarah Ayton and Saskia Clark’s year-long 470 campaign. Joe is now coaching Saskia Clark and Hannah Mills for London 2012.
