Make sure your club is fully prepared for the racing season ahead by making the most of upcoming Race Coach courses.
The course to become an RYA Racing Coach Level 2 is an intense, informative and engaging weekend looking at the theory of coaching and applying it in a practical series of on the water exercises.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and techniques to be able to coach racing to youth and adult sailors.
Clubs stand to benefit greatly from ensuring members achieve this qualification ahead of the new season, with three new courses set to be held from March to April.

16-17 Apr - Weir Wood Sailing Club
Does your club want to host a Racing Coach course?
We are always on the lookout for clubs who are keen to host these two-day courses throughout the year.
All you need is five single handed boats, one patrol boat, an indoor area and an idea of dates you would like to run the course (two consecutive days).
Contact your High Performance Manager or firstname.lastname@example.org to book on to a course or for more information on hosting a course.
Race Coaches are now required to revalidate every 5 years to ensure their continual education as a coach.
Follow the simple three-step process and complete the revalidation form to ensure your qualification is kept up to date.
