The RYA’s Coaching Development Team Re-Launch the Racing Coach Level 3 Qualification (RCL3)
Do you coach dinghy racing at your sailing club? Have you completed your RCL2 qualification and gained at least 2 years regular coaching experience? Do you try to develop your coaching?
After 3 years in hibernation we have decided now is the right time to re-launch the RCL3 qualification.
The RCL3 qualification is aimed at club coaches who have at least 2 years regular coaching experience. The aim of the RCL3 qualification is to help coaches master:
How to plan a successful learning environment, i.e. they know what needs to be learnt and when the sailors can do it.
Creating an environment where sailors can successfully self-learn.
The key knowledge needed to coach dinghy racing.
Dates and venues:
Selection Weekend – Rutland Sailing Club 22nd-23rd April 2017
RCL3 Weekend 1 – June 2017
RCL3 Weekend 2 – September 2017
