Big Games Open Day
There will be taster sessions, boat trips to view racing an dboats on show for members of the public to view. Open to the public. Ages 10 to 80, Tours and Sailing available.

Sail for Gold Open Day
WFSC will be offering sailing taster sessions in a number of boats that are sailed at the club. Visitors will be able to use the excellent facilities in the clubhouse and enjoy a variety of activities and competitions for all ages... ... including the the chance to win a RYA Level 1 course. The galley will be open throughout the day in addition to a BBQ (weather permitting). Kayaking to be confirmed.

Push the Boat Out
We are wanting anybody who has any type of sailing boat to join us for a days sailing from 1100hr onwards. They can just have a cruise round the lake or can join in with the racing if they wish to do so. Support our Club member, Stuart Bithell who is sailing in the 470 class dinghy at the 2012 Olympics down in Weymouth. Evening Barbecue after sailing. Open to the public.

South East Region
Club Open Day
A two day event this year, the club open day is for all. To promote the club to the local community and invite friends and family to join us on the water either sailing or windsurfing. Saturday will also see us holding Sail for Gold... ... a BBQ & camp over for those wishing to make full use of the facilities. Sunday will continue with taster sessions & intro to racing with the Family Cup and Single Hander races being the main event of the day. Ages 10 to 65.
South West Region
Taster Day
Members of the public can come and have a sail without booking. The club fleet of boats with experienced helms will be available. Depending on the numbers of visitors you can expect a quarter of an hour's sail. A strict boarding system is used to avoid queue jumpers. You can make as many trips as you wish.

Try Sail Day
BBQ from 13:00, Sailing from 14:00. Try sailing as crew in a sailing dinghy. Sailing Instructors and experienced helms. Safety gear and Safety Boat provided. All welcome - children with an adult please. As with all sailing what we do will depend on the weather on the day. Ages from 12 to 60.
