Brand new Racing Rules book launched at RYA Volvo Dinghy Show
'RYA The Racing Rules Explained' was launched at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show.
The RYA launched its very latest book at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show 2010 over the weekend (6-7 March); ‘RYA The Racing Rules Explained’.
Author Trevor Lewis was at the show and joined the RYA’s Race Officials Education Officer Chris Watts on stage at the end of his main stage talk on ‘Mark roundings, rules and tactics’ to officially announce the launch of the book.
Trevor said: “The book is aimed at competitors and officials and is completely comprehensive covering the rule book from one end to the other. “It’s bang up to date, with over 100 diagrams that are easy to follow.”
The only book on the market to include all the January 2010 ISAF rule changes, it has a fresh logical approach to its subject matter with clear illustrations.
Steen Ingerslev, RYA Business Development Manager said: “Trevor has produced a fantastic book that covers each rule from 1 to 90. It really is essential reading for any competitor, race official or aspiring race official.”
RYA The Racing Rules Explained costs £16.99 and can be purchased by visiting www.rya.org.uk .
