Open to everyone who wants to make a difference in making sure people enjoy our sport
Want to learn more about how you can help run better racing at your club or Open events? Or are you a qualified RYA race officer, judge or umpire interested in the race management latest? The 2012 Midlands’ Rules and Race Management Conference is open to all!
The Conference is taking place at South Staffordshire SC – just off Junction 12 on the M6 - on Saturday 18 February (10am-4pm) and representatives from all Midlands clubs, West and East, are welcome.
Among the provisional items on the agenda include goals and targets for improving race management and understanding of the racing rules across the Midlands in 2012-13, start line management and race finishes, mark laying, redress and issues around Rule 42.
The Conference will work best if it is as interactive as possible so there will be a mixture of general and small group discussions and suggestions/requests for content and presentations are invited.
Registration is £10, which will include teas and coffees and lunch of either soup and roll or jacket potato and fillings.
