I Love Sailing-July's video of the month 

And July's video of the month is...

Congratulations to Chris Videlo who has created July’s winning video of the month in the I Love Sailing Facebook competition.  

His winning film has secured him one of the last places in the I Love Sailing grand final which will be held at Southampton Boat Show on 17 September  (15:00 on the RYA Stand, E037) and a step closer to winning the  grand prize package which includes a MacBook Pro and Final Cut editing equipment.  

Chris’s fantastic entry is a compilation of footage from his 2011 season at Waldringfield Sailing Club and wins him a Go Pro camera from Action Cameras. His fast paced footage and captures exactly what he loves about the sport from the excitement and the adrenaline rush to the speed and even the weather.  

And we think it could encourage others to get out on the water too!  

“It’s great that my film has been chosen as the July video of the month. I can’t wait to get out on the water with my new Go Pro. I hope that the judges at the final enjoy it too!” commented a delighted Chris.

There is still one place up for grabs but you will have to be quick as the competition closes on Friday 26 August. Each month the most popular films will be shortlisted for ‘video of the month’ with the winner receiving a Go Pro HD camera from Action Cameras and automatic entry to the grand final where the overall winner will be announced winning the grand prize package worth almost £2,000.

 If you want to enter, simply make a video which captures just what it is that you love about the sport in two minutes or less, get your friends to 'like' it on Facebook, and you could be the owner of a MacBook Pro equipped with the latest Final Cut editing software plus £200 of vouchers to spend on an RYA Training Course.

When entering please remember to use copyright free music and when you upload your video to Facebook make sure your video is on public view in your privacy settings.
