Notices to Mariners w/c 14/11/2011 

The following Notices to Mariners have been notified to the RYA.

Trinity House

No. 43/11 C14 - Gore and Copperas Channels, Thames Estuary, East Coast of England. 

Mariners are advised that on or about 7th February 2012 E. Last Lighted Buoy to be moved 140° 916 metres to Latitude 51°23'.63N, Longitude 001°12'.56E and renamed "Reculver".

Mariners are advised that on or about 7th February 2012 Hook Spit Lighted Buoy to be moved 244° 1175 metres to Latitude 51°23'.81N, Longitude 001°11'.18E and renamed "Copperas".

Lancaster Port Commission

No. 019 - 2011 - Mariners are advised that the River Lune No. 10 Buoy is back on station.  River Lune No. 9 Buoy is now lit.  This cancels NtM 011 - 2011 and 017 - 2011.

Strangford Lough

Mariners are advised that there are planned operations on the SeaGen tidal turbine system, situated in Strangford Lough, which may impact on navigation.  Please see the pdf in the download area for further details.

Mariners are advised that tests are being conducted with a scale model of the Deep Green kite tidal power plant in Strangford Lough.  Please see the pdf in the download area for further details.
