Notices to Mariners w/c 22/02/10 

The following Notices to Mariners have been notified to the RYA.

Trinity House

No.2/10 F2 - Weather conditions during January have delayed the progress of the building work at Lynmouth Foreland Lighthouse.

Northern Lighthouse Board

No.6 of 2010 - Mariners are advised that AIS is being transmitted as an Aid to Navigation from the buoy station in Inninmore Bay, Sound of Mull, off the West Coast of Scotland.

No.7 of 2010 - Mariners are advised that the light station at Clythness, on the East Coast of Scotland will be permanently discontinued.

Commissioners of Irish Lights

No.2 (2010) - Mariners are advised of the establishment of a light on Burren Rocks Beacon, Lambay Island off the east coast of Ireland.

No.3 (2010) - Mariners are advised on the use of the General Lighthouse Authorities (GLA) Differential Global Positioning Systems (DGPS).

No.4 (2010) - Notification of AIS A to N at selected fixed and floating stations on the coasts of GB and Ireland.

Strangford Narrows

Mariners are advised of planned operations on the SeaGen tidal system for more information see the pdf in the downloads area.
