Optimist sail number 6000 auction goes live 

The Optimist sail number ‘6000’ online auction is live, as of 7.00pm Thursday 3 December.

Start bidding now for your chance to own this much sought after sail number whilst at the same time raising money for the John Merricks Sailing Trust.  

The online auction will be run until 7.00pm Sunday 13 December giving everybody plenty of opportunity to bid for this highly desirable sail number. 

This special auction is being run by the International Optimist Association together with the RYA.

The sail number '6000' was donated by the RYA, (Royal Yachting Association) an Issuing Authority for the sail numbers in the UK, to the International Optimist Association.
