Free Sail for Gold Open Day at Stoke-on-Trent club on Saturday 21 July

Help North Staffs Sailing Club ‘Push the Boat Out’ by coming along to try sailing for FREE at the club’s Sail for Gold Open Day on Saturday 21 July!

Exactly one week before the start of the Olympic sailing event, this fun-filled Open Day at this family friendly club on Stanley Reservoir runs from 10am and is guaranteed to offer something for everyone.

Whether getting your first taste of sailing under the watchful eye of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) instructors or simply sampling the social side of what life at North Staffs SC has to offer, the Sail for Gold Open Day is open to everyone regardless of age, gender or experience. Refreshments will be available from the clubhouse.

North Staffs SC are enthusiastic participants in the RYA’s nationwide London 2012 initiative, Sail for Gold, celebrating Britain's unmatched Olympic sailing heritage and inspiring more people to get out on the water more regularly.

On Saturday 21 July sailing clubs and centres all over the country will take part in national ‘Push the Boat Out Day’ in an emphatic show of support for the British sailing team as they prepare to stake their claim as the World’s top sailing nation for the fourth Games in a row.

North Staffs SC is a recognised RYA Training Centre, meaning it conforms to the highest standards of quality and safety in the world.
