3.3 Applicants will initially be ranked by the RYA Olympic Development Squad Manager and the RYA Olympic Manager using the following criteria:
a) The potential for involvement in the 2016 RYA World Class Programme;
b) Recent past results, specifically (in descending order of priority):
i) The 2008 Olympic Games;
ii) World Class Programme status;
iii) 2011 World Championships;
iv) Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta 2011; and
v) UK National Championships;
c) The weight of sailors, to allow the RYA to meet the ISAF specified weight range for the relevant equipment;

e) Any potential conflict of interest, including relationships with equipment manufacturers, membership of Class Associations and membership of any Committees of any equipment being tested.
3.4 From this long list, for sailors on the World Class Programme, the RYA Olympic Manager will determine availability (ie: not having any conflicting International Events in their class that they are required to attend).
3.5 The RYA Olympic Manager will present the applications and ranking list to the RYA Nomination Committee.
