Yachting opportunities for disabled sailors
UKSA announces training opportunities for East Midlands sailors
If you have a disability 2012 could be the year you get yachting.
Whether you have never sailed before or you would like to get some more sea miles or gain an RYA qualification, UKSA is offering yachting and training opportunities to the East Midlands' disabled sailing community.
It may be possible to complete the RYA Day Skipper or Competant Crew award given your abilities and previous experience. Some mobility is necessary.
- UKSA is a recognized RYA Training Centre with lots of experience of changing lives through maritime activities.
- The yachts are MCA coded and insured.
- The volunteer skippers are commercially endorsed Yachtmasters approved by UKSA
The cost is your share of berthing, food and fuel, typically around £25 a day.
Dates:
Yachting experience long weekend 25th-29th April 2012
Day Skipper or Comp Crew Training 30th Sept-7th Oct 2012
