The North East Cruising Conference is set to take place on Saturday, 24 February 2018 in the Pavilions of Harrogate conference centre.
This full day of presentations and activities will cover a wide variety of topics ranging from coastal and blue water route planning to developments in and getting the most from instruments and electronics.
Speakers include the renowned yachtsman and Team GB meteorologist Simon Rowell. Those attending will benefit from yacht cruising updates and current RYA work for cruising members with well informed and entertaining speakers and workshop discussions.

The London and South East Cruising & Racing Conference 2018 takes place on Saturday, 24 February.
A day full of presentations and workshops will cover a wide range of topics such as tips and tricks for successful anchoring, current cruising issues, sail trimming, motor cruising topics and more! The main focus will be on providing help and advice and there will be ample opportunities for attendees to ask questions of the presenters.

The North West Cruising Conference has been arranged for Saturday, 10 March 2018 with a range of speakers booked to appear, including British yachting journalist, author and broadcaster Tom Cunliffe.
Following feedback on the catering at the event’s previous venue, the conference will take place at Winmarleigh House in Warrington.

Sunday, 11 March 2018 will see a unique new event hosted by the Woolverstone Project, an accredited RYA Training Centre that delivers the fun and freedom of sailing for those with disabilities, with the help and tuition of fully qualified instructors.
This Cruising Conference will be a one day celebration of cruising hosted at the Royal Hospital School in Holbrook, Suffolk.
During the day there will be keynote speeches from prominent sailors (including four time Paralympian and RYA Yachtmaster™ of the Year Hannah Stodel), workshops run by experts in their field from individuals and marine companies, demonstrations and exhibitions.
This innovative new event will inspire you to get more from your cruising and by attending you will be giving disabled people the opportunity to enjoy getting afloat, as all profits raised will go directly to the Woolverstone Project to provide sailing sessions for those with disabilities.
