The RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show is the only show in the world dedicated exclusively to the sport. Taking place at Alexandra Palace, London over the weekend of 04-05 March 2017, it’s the perfect opportunity to mark the start of a new sailing season.

Once again the show will feature a packed schedule of talks and coaching sessions from world class sailors which aim to make a real difference to your sailing whether you’re a cruiser or a racer.

On the Suzuki Main Stage visitors to the show will be inspired by a record breaking Laser voyage as Gary ‘Ted’ Sargent shares his experience sailing single-handed around the coast of Ireland for his ‘One Wild Ride’ charity challenge.

Historian David Henshall will be taking us back in time to discover how some of the most iconic dinghies were created with his talk on Dinghy Design Development and Clive Grant, powerboat trainer to the army, returns to the show to provide essential rescue tips for modern dinghy classes.

There is a huge range of advice on offer throughout the show. Over in the coaching area don’t miss the chance to get involved in our interactive sessions where you’ll learn about the new Racing Rules, start line tactics, rig tuning and more!

“We’re delighted to be able to reveal some brand new speakers for 2017 and to welcome back some old favourites” said RYA Director of Sport Development Alistair Dickson. “Although the full agenda is still being finalised, we can already confirm some of British Sailing’s finest, including renowned authors, coaches and sailors. And there’s still plenty more to come!”
