The British Sailing Team will be descending on the RYA Dinghy Show in force, offering visitors a chance to rub shoulders with the country's best dinghy racers.
Dinghy Show, presented by Suzuki in association with Yachts
& Yachting and Gill, to be held at Alexandra Palace on 3-4 March, will see Olympic and world champions in attendance as well as some of the
up and coming stars of the future.
Opening the show on stage will be Olympians and 49er world champions Dylan Fletcher and Stuart Bithell, accompanied by current Nacra 17
world champions Ben Saxton and Katie Dabson.
Rio 2016 heroes Giles Scott and Hannah
Mills will be joined on the Volvo Stand by Head of Olympic Sailing Ian Walker
and Olympic Performance Manager Mark Robinson who will be talking through their
experiences of life as part of the British Sailing Team.
Some of the other names at Alexandra Palace
dedicating their time include windsurfer Bryony Shaw, skiff team Charlotte
Dobson and Saskia Tidey, 470 sailors Amy Seabright and Anna Carpenter and
Paralympic gold medallist Helena Lucas.
The RYA Dinghy Show also offers the rare
opportunity to talk to all the sailors in a social setting with the new
addition of Sailors’ Corner.
All British Sailing Team members in attendance
will be spending some time in Sailors’ Corner where anyone is welcome to relax
with the team and even fire across those burning questions.
Advance tickets are available at a special discount rate
of £10 for RYA members and £12.50 for non-members.
RYA affiliated clubs can
also take advantage of a special ticket price of £10 when booking six tickets
Don’t forget two children go free with each paying adult as well.
