Calling all RYA centre principals, dinghy coach assessors and powerboat,
PWC and windsurfing trainers!
There are still a few places remaining at the RYA Training Conference 2018 on
the weekend of 10 and 11 February 2018.
The two-day conference, which is open to Day and Weekend guests, will be
held at the Alexandra Hotel in Swindon.
Highlights include presentations such as the RNLI’s top tips on using
radar; how you to promote sailing and windsurfing to new audiences; and how to
encourage new students to be environmentally aware as part of their learning.
There will be industry updates on technology advancements, how centres can
benefit from the RYA’s integration of Foiling into its Dinghy and Windsurfing
schemes and how to make powerboating more accessible to people with
Exciting workshops also aim to provide a bigger picture with some
valuable insights and take-homes – such as how to bring focus to coaching
sessions and how to investigate incidents and accidents effectively, plus Karen
Creavin aims to inspire with her fascinating overview of how to remove barriers
to encourage more people into sport.
All sessions are pre-booked when you apply. Weekend or day places are
