All UK residents who wish to take part in Powerboat Racing in the United Kingdom or the Northern Ireland must hold a valid Powerboat Racing Licence issued by the Royal Yachting Association.

All UK residents who wish to take part in International Powerboat Racing  must hold a valid International Powerboat Racing Licence issued by the Royal Yachting Association.

You will need to complete the Jet Sport Powerboat Licence Application to compete in the Jet Sport discipline.

TUE Form - This only applies if your taking certain types of medication and need to submit it to UK Sport. A copy of the TUE Form must be sent back with your completed Licence Application forms, to check which medication this refers to please visit the World Anti-Doping Agency website.  

AQUAX

Before applying for an RYA Amateur AquaX Powerboat Racing Licence applicants must have taken the RYA PWC Competency Course and satisfactorily completed an AquaX race-training programme. For information on how to obtain the RYA PWC Competency Course please visit the RYA Training Department site and details of the AquaX race training dates will be provided by P1 on entry to the series. Once these two training modules have been completed please forward your Licence Application form together with copies of PWC and AquaX certificates
