COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION

We want to make sure that the information we send out is right for you.

Pre event communication will be by email or telephone.  Key documents, such as Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions, will also be available on this website, and will be in Arial 12pt font. If there is anything else we can do, prior to the event, to ensure you can access what you need please let Melissa know.  This might be large print, audio or braille, or it could be that you would prefer a text or email to a telephone call.

During the event notices and results will be placed on the event notice board.  There will be a verbal competitor briefing as well as the prize giving.  Please let us now if there is anything we can do to help you access this.  For example would you like notices to be sent to you by text or email? Would you like a hearing loop to be available, or an interpreter?

If you would like to discuss these, or any other support needs, please contact Melissa Chapman on 02380 604271 or at melissa.chapman@rya.org.uk

SUPPORT ON THE WATER

We will identify those boats that have servo assist and where sailors require access to a hoist, so that the right support can be provided on the water and from the pontoons.  You will be asked to complete a Health declaration when you enter.  Volunteers will be on duty as you launch and when you come off the water.  A fleet of support boats will be on each race area.  If there is anything else we need to know (in confidence) to provide you with the support you need, whatever may happen on the water please let us know by contacting Melissa on 02380 604271 or at melissa.chapman@rya.org.uk

IF YOU NEED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH BOOKING YOUR PLACE ON THE REGATTA OR THE TRAINING DAY PLEASE CONTACT MELISSA WHO WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO HELP.
