Hosting Inter-Club Events
All Team15 clubs who are interested in hosting an event in 2013, please read the following information clearly to ensure that you meet the minimum criteria.
Are you interested in hosting a Team15 Inter-Club Event in 2013?
- You will need to apply to your T15 CO in order to host a T15 Inter-Club Event.
- Closing date for applications is Friday 19 October 2012.
In order to apply, we ask you meet a minimum criteria; these are below:
Your Club Team:
- Comprises of at least two sailors.
- Has attended at least one T15 Inter-Club Event, away from your home venue in the previous season (2012).
Your Venue:
- Currently runs a regular, active Team15 Club.
- Water facilities are large enough and suitable to accommodate the size of the event (up to 2 courses).
- Coastal clubs have back up location in case of rough sea states.
- Has sufficient and suitable car parking facilities.
- Has sufficient toilet/wash facilities.
- Can ideally provide catering (though not essential).
Your Club Can Provide:
- The use of 2 safety boats and 1 additional boat which can be used as a committee boat for the event.
- Qualified boat drivers, who can provide safety cover for the event.
- VHF radios for use at the event.
- Personnel to assist the T15 Competition Organiser, ashore and afloat.

The T15 CO will be in contact following the closing date to inform you whether your application has been successful or not; prior to making a decision they may contact you for further information. In exceptional circumstances, the T15 CO has the right to select a venue which may not meet the minimum criteria.
The host club and T15 CO will also need to complete an event agreement form, prior to the event taking place.The 2011 example of this is available as a download, with the 2012 version to be made available in the near future.
