Training Courses & Seminars 

With over 1,000 youngsters taking part in the Youth Programme, not to mention the vast amount of activity organised by clubs and class associations, there is an increasing demand for race officials, amongst others.

Conferences are not required for the initial qualification of race officials and as such are not regarded as training.  Conferences are listed in Keeping Up To Date.

Courses - The 1st Level
Courses to get race officials started but with no RYA qualifications.
Race Management Seminars
Attend these seminars as a prerequisite to becoming a Regional or National Race Officer.
Mark Laying Seminars
Attend these seminars in order to becoming a qualified Regional or National Mark Layer
Judge Seminars
Attendance at a Judging Seminar is required for qualification as a Regional or National Judge.
Umpire Seminars
Attendance is required to submit an application to qualify as a Regional or National Umpire
RYA Dinghy Racing Safety Course
The course is aimed at taking clubs through the safety aspects involved in running dinghy championships or open meetings.
