RYA youth and junior programmes in the Thames Valley and London Region include include Honda Youth Rib, Team15, OnBoard and High Performance.

OnBoard: Run by the RYA, OnBoard is a grass roots programme which introduces sailing to young people aged 8 to 18, through schools, youth groups and training centres.

Honda Youth Rib: The Honda RYA Youth RIB scheme introduces youngsters to RIB driving and gives them the opportunity to compete at regional and national level.

Team15: Supported by industry leaders Tushingham/Starboard, Windsurf magazine, Boards magazine, Neil Pryde and Boardwise, Team15 was set up to make windsurfing more accessible and appealing to youngsters

TV Youngsters Excel at Zone Championships: Thames Valley sailors and windsurfers excelled at the prestigious RYA Volvo Zone and Home Country Championships held on 24-25 September 2011.

Regional Medals at Youth Nationals: Six regional sailors won medals at the coveted RYA Volvo National Youth Championships in April 2011
