The Regional Committee consists of volunteers elected by the Region's Clubs. Committee members represent boating interests on local marine safety committees and other government and local bodies.

Within the Yorkshire and Humber region there is also a small passionate team of RYA staff members, voluntary regional organisers and coaches who are available to help and support the RYA community in their specialist areas:
Regional Development Officer (North East and Yorkshire) – Adam McGovern.
Adam is your main RYA point of contact in the region for club/centre development and instructor training. Managing the OnBoard Officers, RYA Coaches/Trainers and RTC Inspectors as well as small team of Regional Club Coaches (RCCs) supporting adult participation in the region.
High Performance Manager (North and West) – Chris Blackburn
- Chris looks after the Volvo Champion Clubs in the North and West zones and manages a team of Regional Club Coaches (RCCs) who support junior racing within clubs. He also organises and facilitates the zone squads and championships
OnBoard Development Officer – Liz Wrigglesworth
- Liz's role is to promote sailing and windsurfing to young people, support the network of OnBoard clubs and centres in their provision of sailing and windsurfing and to develop links between schools and the network of OnBoard clubs and centres.
Regional Communicator – Liz King
- Liz promotes regional RYA activities, in particular Honda Youth RIB, OB, Team15 to regional media outlets.
Sailability Regional Organiser – Peter Fox
- Peter’s role is to promote disabled sailing activities and actively increase the numbers of disabled sailors in the Yorkshire/Humber region
Team 15 Coordinator – David Dobson
- David’s role is to arrange and manage the Team15 interclub windsurfing events in the North zone
Honda Youth RIB Regional Final Coordinator – Tom Busfield
- Tom’s role is to help organise and promote the Yorkshire/Humber regional final of the Honda Youth RIB Championship.
Regional Rules Manager – Henry Wright
- Henry is responsible for the team of Rules Advisors and Race Managers within the North
Regional Planning and Environmental Coordinator - Geoff Hill
- Geoff monitors planning and environmental issues in the Region and co-ordinates and prepares responses to these issues if they affect recreational boaters, their facilities and their freedom of navigation.
