Yorkshire & Humberside Region 

Welcome to the RYA Yorkshire and Humber regional website.

The RYA region of Yorkshire & Humber covers four counties – North, South and West Yorkshire and the Humber; geographically - Whitby to Grimsby on the coast and Richmond to Sheffield inland.

The RYA Yorkshire and Humber region actively supports and encourages sailing and power boating activities in their many forms.

  • Sailing – dinghy, yachting and windsurfing
  • Power boating – small to large motorboats, Personal Water Craft (PWC) and Inland Waterways canal boating

There are over 35 RYA Affiliated Sailing Clubs, 10 Powerboat Clubs/Centres and nearly 50 RYA Recognised Training Centres within the region.
