Scottish Club Trophy

The Scottish Club Trophy is an event aimed at young sailors who have just started racing and want to represent their club and come to a friendly racing environment.

Scottish Club Trophy 2017

19th August - Clyde Cruising Club Dinghy Section - Bardowie Loch

The event is a one day training and racing event aimed at giving novice and intermediate sailors an insight into the benefits of academy level training and the fun atmosphere created at inter club racing events.

Competitors are invited to compete in the Optimist, Topper, Feva, Tera & Hansa 303 if they are under 16 as of 31st December 2017. Entry is only open to non Development Team sailors.  Cost is £10 per sailor.

The event format will be a morning of race training by RYA Scotland Coaches followed by a three race series in the afternoon.

Prizes will be awarded to the first three boats in each class; to novice sailors potentially sailing in their first 'away' event and the top performing club. We will also have a series of special prizes.

The Scottish Club Trophy notice of race can be downloaded here or from the top right of this page. The 2017 poster can also be found at the top right of this page or from here.
