Chair of the RYA Racing Committee

The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is seeking to appoint a new Chair to the RYA Racing Committee (RC).

The RC is a senior policy-forming committee reporting to the RYA Board. It is a volunteer group responsible for setting policy and advising, challenging and liaising with RYA staff within the RYA Racing Department.

Do you have the skill, energy and passion to lead this committee?

The volunteer committee advises, challenges, sets policies and provides governance on all aspects of sailboat racing in the UK.

Anticipated as a 4 year appointment, it meets 4 times a year, usually in Hamble or London, virtually or in person.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead and drive activity within the group, liaise with the Racing Department and the Board.

We are looking for someone to be involved in a handover process during the rest of 2024.

Call for a chat to find out what is involved – Nick Scott on 07860 780073 or Tom Dixon on 07932 973566.
