This is an exciting role to support the development of current and future youth sailors across England. We are looking for individuals with expertise and experience in supporting transitioning sailors and developing sailors within their specialist class. We are looking for coaches based within each of Northern, South Western, South Eastern and Mid-Country areas of England for following classes:
*Please note, NACRA and Kite delivery will be based around developing training opportunities within the class at 1 or 2 locations
The essential coaching skills for all roles include: -
Coaches with expertise across multiple classes may be considered for lead across those classes.
The successful candidates will be required to work collaboratively with RYA Talent Academies Manager and wider team of Talent Academy Coaches in developing and implementing a sailor-centred development programme against clearly defined aims and objectives.
The contract amounts to approximately 50 days coaching from 1 February 2025 to 31 August 2026
