Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum


Full Time: 35 hours per work


Location:   Hamble (hybrid working)

The RYA Talent Pathway is funded through the Sport England, UK Sport and RYA investment.

The RYA is looking for an individual to fulfil the role of Pathway Club Manager, with the passion and commitment to influence clubs, volunteers and coaches.

Working within the RYA’s Racing department, the successful candidate will develop this newly created role to identify and develop clubs around the UK to provide excellent sailing coaching for young people.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Leading the development of the RYA Pathway Club programme.
  2. Create a process for identifying, assessing, tracking progress and supporting the development of potential Pathway Clubs.
  3. Developing the Pathway Club programme and its communication to the sailing network working with stakeholders to achieve this.
  4. Develop the support offer for Pathway Clubs
  5. Engage with Sport England and other stakeholders to build the profile of the Pathway Club activity.
  6. Prepare and manage the budget for the Pathway Club programme to include monthly financial reporting.
  7. Prepare monthly progress reporting against programme success measures.
