Across the UK we are reaching out to clubs and helping them to connect with one another whilst we are in lockdown.
We know clubs are now facing a number of new challenges at the moment so with this in mind we have created a series of online Club Development Forums as an opportunity for people in clubs to come together to share ideas around a focused topic.
We welcome anyone who is involved with running club activity but the forums will be especially useful for those who are on a commitee. There will be a forum in each region for at least the next three weeks...
How will they work?
We'll be using an online tool that enables us to provide a short presentation to you, share a case study from a club that has successfully been addressing the topic, then break onto smaller groups to discuss the situation and explore the options to managing this. Just like a face to face forum!
Joining will be easy! Once you have dialled or clicked into the forum we can manage all of this for you so almost no tech skills are required and all club development forums are free of charge.
What are the topics?
We'll be covering a range of topics, starting with engaging with your club members we hope that this will help you to reduce membership churn in this lockdown period. The following week we will be exploring managing the financial impact of the lockdown on your club. Then we will explore how we safely manage getting back on the water. Do check out the schedule of forums for your region.
