RashR Launches Face Masks made from Reclaimed Ocean Waste
RYA Member Reward Partner, RashR, has pivoted its supply chain to offer branded face masks and neck gaiters, and is offering exclusive discounts to all RYA affiliated clubs.
In an effort to think outside the box as a result of a temporary decline in their core
business, and in the pursuit of helping out the sailing community in the fight against COVID-19, RashR, is now producing washable eco-friendly face-masks with filters.
Any club in need of facemasks can custom design their own masks for their members, staff and/or extended community, while enjoying a special club discount on purchases.
Since 2017, RashR has been a supplier to luxury resorts across the
world (such as the Four Seasons, Sixth Sense, and Richard Branson's luxury resort,
Necker Island) with their sustainable clothing and accessories (including rash vests,
compression tops, board-shorts and caps).
However, with the onset of COVID-19, we're now using the materials we
traditionally used in the production of our internationally renowned rash vests
to produce high quality face masks on an industrial scale, explained Tom Cotter, CEO, RashR.
The face-masks are machine washable and reusable and are manufactured in two
sizes, an adult one-size-fits all version and one for children aged 3-10 years.
Each facemask has a pocket which is suitable for optional PM2.5 filters which are also supplied by the company. The five-layer filters are non-woven fabric, activated
carbon and melt down fabric to conform to GBT 32610 -2016 standards to filter
bacteria, particles, dust and smoke and to increase filtration levels.
All RYA affiliated clubs enjoy a 5% discount on orders, plus additional discounts for bulk purchases:
- Additional 2.5% discount on orders over 500units.
- Additional 2.5% discount on orders over 1000units
- Additional 5% discount on orders over 5000units
The artwork fee of £100 will also be reimbursed when an order is placed.
