RYA Affiliated Clubs Conference goes virtual!
The RYA Affiliated Clubs Conference will be held using a virtual platform this year to ensure it can go ahead against the background uncertainties of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The conferences are usually held at regional venues but this time there will be one national event on Saturday 21 November 2020 to which all clubs across the UK will be invited.
You will be able to take part from the comfort of your own home and in many ways this year's conference will be more accessible, to more people, than ever before.
As usual, the aim is to deliver an exciting programme of speakers and workshops, providing clubs with a one-stop shop for all the latest updates and learning as they plan their activities for another, hopefully busier year on the water for all of us in 2021. Look out for more information and how to book in the next few weeks...
Clubs and classes: Major Event Opportunities Input 2020/2021
The RYA is reaching out to clubs and classes to help find officials and volunteers for the rest of the 2020 season and the start of the 2021 season (December-May).
If your club has any events that you would like to be included please complete the Club and Classes: Major Event Opportunities Input 2020/2021 form which can be found here.
This form will be open until the 11th September.
We will then look to open the volunteer form from the 18th September which will be sent out to all race officials and those on our volunteering database. We would intend to keep the survey open for up to a month and can provide you with responses by the end of October, but these dates will be confirmed when we release the survey.
