Corporation Tax webinar with Richard Baldwin

The RYA is pleased to announce that Richard Baldwin, MBE; FCA; CTA, Tax Consultant, will once again be joining us to run a club development webinar on Corporation Tax on Wednesday 09 March at 7.30pm.

This webinar is an update of last year’s ‘Introduction to Corporation Tax’ webinar and we would strongly advise attendance, especially from club treasurers and committee members, in order to keep up to date with the latest tax information.

Steering the Course

Sailing clubs are once again invited to celebrate women in in boating as part of World Sailing’s international Steering the Course campaign. Returning for 2022, the campaign aims to introduce women and girls across the globe to the sport of sailing and promote further opportunities for those already involved.

During Steering the Course, we’ll be running a ‘takeover’ on the RYA social channels highlighting women and their roles in the sport on social media, whether as commodores or committee members, helms or trimmers, race officials or mark layers, instructors or coaches, to raise the profile of women in boating.

We’re hoping that our RYA clubs, class associations and centres will also want to get involved. This could be as simple as running a ‘women at the helm’ club race, using a female race management team, running a specific taster session, linking a celebration to your ‘women on water’ group, providing opportunities for aspirant female instructors or coaches to shadow your current team.

Be part of the campaign and let us know if you have activity taking place or would like to join in on social media. Sign up here
