Your Regional Development Team

The team is led by Ben Hodgson, the Regional Development Officer. His role is to support and develop the clubs and centres and to grow sailing and windsurfing activity in the Midlands. He is supported by a team of Sailing Development Officers. Together they work closely with the Regional Volunteer Team.

The RYA Midlands team can provide advice on:

• How to identify and reach new customers and how to develop your offer to suit their needs
• How to develop and train new instructors
• How to upskill existing instructors
• Funding opportunities to subsidise the cost of their instructor courses
• Funding opportunities to susidise the cost of courses
• And much, much more!
