Weekend Details


With a continually changing situation as far as the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned, there have been some changes to the format of training.   We are now running a series of sessions at clubs across Scotland delivered by our experienced Academy coaching team. 

Our aim is to reach as many clubs as we can and run a series of single sessions for club-based sailors.  These are class specific and lead by experienced RYA Scotland coaches.  This will bring quality  training to lots of clubs across Scotland and allow sailors to engage with structured winter training and racing at their home club, more than ever before. 

If you are coming along to enjoy the RYA Scotland Academy training then please remember the following:

We look forward to welcoming you at the Academy training sessions. Please remember the following:-

  • Training is non-residential
  • Please be at the venue rigged and changed for the session (club facilities currently closed with the exception of toilets)
  • Bring enough food and drink for each session on the water
  • Bring enough warm clothing
  • Read and sign the RYAS Performance Expectations & Covid Clear Declaration which your Coach will send just before the training
  • Do any preparation work the coach might ask of you
  • Contact the Head Coach if you have any questions (Or RYAS Performance Team if this is before the Coach has sent you information)
