Instructordemand survey

At the Affiliated Clubs Conference in November, we used theMentimeter app to get instant answers from our delegates to questions about ourservice to members. According to the results, finding new volunteers andinstructors was the second greatest priority for clubs, and clubs want moresupport from the RYA in training instructors too.

There is now an online survey that aims to give us a betterunderstanding of whether RYA Training Centres have sufficient instructors tomeet the current and anticipated demand for courses, and of the demand forinstructor training and any barriers that may prevent people completing it.

Please complete this survey. It will help us to plan and promoteinstructor training to meet demand.

ThanksRoger, and welcome Chris!

Thanks to RogerJobson, who stepped down as Chair of the SW Regional Team at the endof November, after four years in the post. Chris Davis, who has been on theTeam for seven years, is the new Chair, and Bob Penfold has become Vice Chair.I look forward to working with them all over the coming months.
