The South West region of the RYA includes Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol and Avon, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
We have around 700 miles of coastline, as well as a fantastic range of estuary, lake and river sailing opportunities – in fact, we have arguably some of the finest sailing waters in the UK!
With around 170 RYA-affiliated clubs and organisations and over 200 RYA-recognised training centres (RTCs) in our region, there’s a very wide range of activities - including dinghy and yacht sailing and racing, motor and sail cruising, RIBs and sportsboats, powerboat racing, windsurfing, inland cruising or personal watercraft – available for all ages and abilities.
You don’t have to have your own boat in order to go sailing, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to take part in whatever activity you want, to whatever level you want in our region, so as well as exploring this website, you can:
We'll see you on the water soon!
