Ever wanted to know how satisfied your club members really are?
The RYA have asked a specialist market research company to put together a satisfaction survey especially designed for clubs and you have the chance to join in for free.
Satisfaction plays an important role within all membership organisations as well as businesses - after all members are customers too. It is the leading indicator to measure loyalty, identify why members are unhappy and reduce churn.
Starting in June, our independent research company will be gathering up-to-date member and recent former member feedback on various aspects of club life. After the results are analysed, you’ll receive a 2 page report to enable you to better understand what your members think of aspects of the club, such as your facilities and activity programme, and what you can do to improve their overall levels of satisfaction.
Interestingly, it seems that asking for feedback in itself can improve satisfaction. It conveys the message that the club cares, is not afraid to seek members’ views because it wants to take action to improve and it values members’ opinions.
