RYANI acknowledge our Clubs, Centres and members face significant challenges amid the Coronavirus outbreak. The impact of which may be felt for some time.

It is at times like these when we need to work together. At RYANI we endeavour to keep meaningful engagement with all Clubs and organisations to try to best support you. We are here to offer practical advice and guidance on all aspects of boating, steering members through “unchartered waters”.

It is important we try to prepare for the time when we are all able to get out onto the water. Regattas and championships will run again, as will boating activities, whether on land or sea. We ask that you keep in contact with us; let us know the challenges you are facing; provide knowledge which will keep us all connected in difficult times.

This is important as we brief Sport NI and the Department of Communities on challenges being faced by the boating community and we ensure we are included in packages of support. With the ever changing elements regarding the virus outbreak, please always follow Public Health Agency advice.

The RYA is keeping an updated hub of information specific to considerations for the various members of our boating community. Together we will get through this.

In the meantime, follow the guidance and do not hesitate to be in touch with the staff team or ourselves if we can be of help in any way.
