Over the coming months, the RYA will be conducting an in-depth review of its governance of Powerboat Racing in the UK.
Led by experienced project manager Peter Cardy, reporting directly to the RYA Board, the review will encompass all elements of the sport from training and licenses to competitor participation and officials.
Individuals will be invited to participate in the consultation in a number of ways, including personal interviews, facilitated discussion groups, and tailored online surveys that will cover affiliated clubs, licence holders and current officials.
Each respondent will be sent a personalised link via email to their survey. Members of the general public wishing to contribute views will also be able to do so via a dedicated website page.
Have your say
Full details of how you can get involved in the consultation will be available on the RYA website soon and the survey will be open from the 1st July and will close on the 17th July.
Royal Yachting Association CEO, Sarah Treseder, said: "This is a unique opportunity for the powerboating community to make a meaningful and important contribution towards this process and all of the information received will be carefully considered during the consultation.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all relevant parties in advance for taking the time to submit your feedback or complete surveys."
