Premier Marinas are running a South Coast Cruise to Chichester Marina, with some tempting refreshments on arrival along with the chance to have your life-jacket checked by the RNLI. With over 10 marinas taking part and entertainment provided for all the family, register your boat now!

Over in Wales, Cardiff Bay Yacht Club will be heading to Swansea for a weekend trip (4th & 5th July) and a cheese and wine party. Penarth Quays Marina is also hosting a RNLI Fundraising Sail Day, with local yacht owners kindly donating their vessel and their time for a day. In return, the RNLI will receive donations from local companies for their guests to have a day out sailing. This annual fundraiser can generate in the region of £20,000 for the RNLI, with new yacht owners and sponsors always welcome. Quay Marinas are having an active month in July as Royal Quays in North Shields deliver a 'MOB and recovery methods' workshop. This is aimed at educating attendees on different methods to recover a Man Over Board and how to use marina equipment to recover a vessel. Contact Matthew Simms to get involved.

If you find yourself anywhere near Brightlingsea on 4th & 5th July, be sure to get down to the Colne Yacht Club for an action packed weekend Regatta. There's the opportunity to try sailing in a keelboat, take part in a crabbing competition and enjoy the all-day BBQ.
