Mike Chambers is stepping down from Chair. He said: “I have enjoyed my tenure as the Chair and hope that the ATYC has managed to represent the boater’s aspirations to the EA and other organisations with some success. My thanks to the committee, and especially to those retiring, for their work during my time.
“I wish the new chair and committee all the best for the future.”
Gabrielle Chambers is also stepping down from Vice Chair and Membership Secretary. She said: "After serving on the committee in various roles for nine years I have decided to take a break also. It has been a great privilege to serve you all and help you out when possible.
“I wish all the clubs many more years of happy boating.”
Helen Hofmann, RYA Regional Team Chair, responded: “It's been a real pleasure liaising with you and the ATYC, and heartfelt praise for all your hard work with it all, and your support for the Thames boating community. Thanks too for your support liaising with RYA meetings etc. and for the very good communication.
“With all good wishes for continued enjoyment of your boating, and I am sure our paths will cross again at some point!”
