The RYA will be communicating the findings of a piece of research aimed to increase the ‘satisfaction’ of sailing club members in a free webinar taking place on 30 January at 7pm.
The final webinar in the RYA ‘Futures series’, will share the findings of research which aims to help to increase the ‘satisfaction’ of club members and reduce membership churn (the % of membership that leaves every year).
RYA Director of Sport Development Alistair Dickson explains: “As the old adage suggests, ‘it’s much easier to keep a customer, than to attract a new one!’ Over the last couple of years we’ve been working to investigate how we can help clubs to prevent their members from leaving and better engage with them. We hope that this will make it more likely that they will promote the club to their friends and family and become lifelong members”.
RYA Affiliated sailing clubs and other organisations can hear the findings of this research and also hear directly from clubs who’ve managed to use it to increase the satisfaction of their own club members.
“As before, we'll be joined by an expert panel to discuss the findings and to answer questions from the audience. If you can't join us, please sign up anyway and you'll be able to hear the recording after the live show” Alistair concludes.
